Retrouvaille seeks healing and restoration for marriages in crisis through
a Christ-centered, locally based peer ministry. We seek to do so through a
team-based, Christ-centered ecumenical approach, believing that the Body
of Christ is stronger in unity than in separation.
Madison Area Retrouvaille
will employ the strategies, methods and guidelines of Retrouvaille
International. The local board, presenting teams, and support people for
weekends and post sessions, will draw upon the members and clergy of local
Christian churches, Catholic and Protestant, based on the gifting,
availability and completed, required training of those individuals.
We will also work in
partnership with other Retrouvaille communities within Wisconsin,
neighboring states, and elsewhere to assist each other in extending Christ's
healing to wounded marriages. |
